Our Mission & Values
We started Skill Ignix back in 2015 with a simple idea — that career development shouldn't be boring or generic. Having been through plenty of dry, cookie-cutter training programs ourselves, we figured there had to be a better way. So we built the kind of company we wished existed: practical, engaging, and actually enjoyable.
Practical Expertise
We don't do theory for theory's sake. Every concept we teach connects directly to real-world application. Our methods are battle-tested in actual business environments — not just academic ideals. I've personally seen how this approach transforms hesitant learners into confident professionals.
Personalized Growth
Cookie-cutter approaches rarely stick. That's why we customize our programs to your specific challenges and goals. We've scrapped the one-size-fits-all model in favor of adaptive learning journeys that respect individual learning styles and business contexts.
Lasting Impact
Anyone can deliver information — we create transformation. Our success isn't measured by completion certificates but by the tangible improvements our clients achieve months and years after our programs. Sometimes I'll bump into a former participant who's still applying techniques they learned with us years ago!
Meet Our Team
Behind Skill Ignix is a team of passionate professionals who bring diverse expertise and backgrounds to every program we deliver. We're a bit unusual as far as training teams go — most of us came from industry roles before finding our calling in skills development.

David O'Connor
Founder & Lead Facilitator
David spent 15 years in operations management before founding Skill Ignix. His hands-on leadership style and knack for simplifying complex topics make him a favorite among our corporate clients. When he's not training, you'll find him sailing the Cork coastline.

Sarah Brennan
Director of Program Development
Sarah brings her background in organizational psychology to design our learning journeys. She's the creative mind behind our unique methodology that blends practical skills with behavioral insights. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing the "aha!" moments during workshops.
